Laboratory scale experiments have been carried out at room temperature by bubbling for 120 minutes ozonated air (3.4 ppm/min) into 3 liter of an alkaline (pH=11.5) aqueous solution (100 mg/L) of MTBE. The experimental results indicated that during the ozonation, complete MTBE degradation occurs in 100 minutes and after this time, ozone consumption goes on very slowly. At the end of the ozonation, after 100 minutes, the initial value of COD (256 mg O2/L) is 98 and corresponds to a relative removal of about 62%. As for MTBE solution biodegradability expressed as (BOD5) / (COD) ratio, during the first 90 minutes, its value regularly increases from lowest 0.01 up to a maximum of 0.68 that corresponds to an ozone consumption of 1.25 mg per each mg of COD initially present in the solution. The research showed that partial degradation of MTBE in the advanced oxidation processes results an increase in its biological degradation. But more oxidation results lower  (BOD5) / (COD) ratio. Also the research showed that for idealization of the chemical oxidation conditions of MTBE, it needs to decrease COD to 46-68% before the biological degradation. The experimental results for determining the rate of MTBE removal due to stripping showed that about 14% of MTBE strips out after an hour of sparging with oxygen gas. The fraction of MTBE oxidized and/or striped increases to about 28% (in pH=7) and 70% (in pH=11.5) with ozonation over the same time period.}, keywords = {Methyl tert-Butyl Ether (MTBE),Ozonation,Biodegradability,Advancced Oxidation}, title_fa = {افزایش تجزیه‌پذیری بیولوژیکی محلولهای مائی متیل ترشیری- بوتیل اتر (MTBE) به وسیله اکسیداسیون پیشرفته}, abstract_fa = {تأثیر تصفیه ازنی روی افزایش تجزیه‌پذیری بیولوژیکی آلاینده‌های مقاوم به تجزیه، به وسیله تحقیق بر روی واکنش ازناسیون متیل ترشیری- بوتیل اتر ( MTBE) به عنوان یک ترکیب اکسیژنه بنزین که مقاوم به تجزیه بیولوژیکی است، مورد آزمایش قرار گرفته است. این تحقیق در مقیاس آزمایشگاهی، در درجه حرارت اتاق و  به وسیله حباب‌زایی به مدت 120 دقیقه، بر روی هوای حاوی ازن (ppm/min3/4) در داخل 3 لیتر از یک محلول مائی قلیایی (11/5=pH) حاوی 100 میلی‌گرم در لیتر MTBE انجام گرفت. نتایج تجربی نشان داد که در طول ازناسیون، MTBE در مدت 100 دقیقه به طور کامل تجزیه شد و پس از این زمان، ازن با روند بسیار کندی مصرف شد. در پایان ازناسیون پس از 100 دقیقه شاخصهای تجزیه پذیری بیولوژیکی محلول MTBE که به صورت کاهش در  CODو تغییر در نسبت (BOD5/COD) تعریف شد، نشان داد که میزان COD اولیه از 256 میلی‌گرم اکسیژن در لیتر به 98 میلی‌گرم در لیتر کاهش یافت (حذف نسبی حدود 62درصد ) و نسبت (BOD5/COD) در طول 90 دقیقه اول به طور منظم، از کمترین حد خود ( 0/01) تا حداکثر 68/0 افزایش یافت که مصرف 25/1 میلی‌گرم ازن به ازای هر میلی‌گرم COD اولیه موجود در محلول را باعث شد. این تحقیق نشان داد که تجزیه ناقص MTBE در فرآیندهای اکسیداسیون پیشرفته منجر به افزایش تجزیه‌پذیری بیولوژیکی آن می شود، اما اکسیداسیون بیشتر، نسبتهای پایینی از BOD5/COD را نتیجه می‌دهد. همچنین تحقیق نشان داد که برای ایده‌آل سازی شرایط اکسیداسیون شیمیایی MTBE به 46-68درصد کاهش در  COD قبل از تجزیه بیولوژیکی نیاز است. نتایج تجربی برای تعیین میزان MTBE حذف شده به واسطه فراریت به هوا نشان داد که حدود 14درصد از MTBE پس از یک ساعت حباب‌زایی با گاز اکسیژن از محیط خارج شد. مقدار MTBE اکسید شده و یا خارج شده از محیط، وقتی همزمان در همان مدت ازناسیون نیز صورت گرفت، به حدود 28درصد (7=pH) و 70درصد (11/5=pH) افزایش یافت.}, keywords_fa = {متیل ترشیری – بوتیل اتر(MTBE),ازناسیون,تجزیه پذیری بیولوژیکی,اکسیداسیون پیشرفته}, url = {https://www.wwjournal.ir/article_2311.html}, eprint = {https://www.wwjournal.ir/article_2311_55d0611a7823a364bc5f497f0ce921ed.pdf} }
