One of these methods is the Electro-Fenton (EF) technique in which an electrical current is applied to the cathode and anode electrodes to promote electrochemical reactions that generate hydroxyl radicals which mineralize organic pollutants and remove them from wastewater. To carry out the Electro-Fenton process iIn this work, the carbon paper (CP) electrode was initially modified with carbon nanotubes (CNT) to produce the CP-CNT electrode which was used as the cathode to remove a mixture of organic dyestuff (containing Reactive Blue 69, Reactive Red 195, and Reactive Yellow 84) from wastewaters. Comparison of the two types of cathode electrodes (i.e., CNT and the modified CP-CNT) showed that the CP-CNT outperformed the CP electrode. The EF process was employed to treat 500 ml of a mixture of dyes (50 mg/L of each dye) containing sodium soulfate and Fe+3 ions. The results revealed that the highest color removal efficiency was achieved when a current of 300 mA was applied for 210 min. COD measurments were used to calculate the effective current and power consumption. It was found that the 300 mA current applied over a period of 210 min yielded the highest effective current and the lowest power consumption. The amount of dyes mineralized by the EF process in the dye solution indicated that 78% of the initial COD had been removed under the above conditions. It may be concluded that the Electro-Fenton process can be successfully used for the treatment of wastewaters containing mixtures of dye pollutants. Cathode electrode type, electrical current, and electrolysis duration were identified as the parameters affecting the process.}, keywords = {Electro-fenton,Reactive Dyes,Carbon Nano Tubes,COD Reduction}, title_fa = {تصفیه الکتروشیمیایی پساب حاوی مخلوط مواد رنگزای راکتیو با به‌کارگیری الکترود کاتد بر پایه نانولوله‌های کربنی}, abstract_fa = {تصفیه پساب‌های حاوی مواد رنگی آلیبا روش‌های متفاوتی از جمله فرایندهای اکسایش الکتروشیمیایی پیشرفته صورت می‌گیرد. فرایند الکتروفنتون یکی از انواع این فرایندهاست که در آن با اعمال برق به الکترودهای آند و کاتد، طی واکنش‌های الکتروشیمیایی، رادیکال‌های هیدروکسیل تولید شده و با حمله به آلاینده‌ها، باعث حذف آنها می‌شوند. در این پژوهش برای اجرای فرایند الکتروفنتون ابتدا الکترود کربن پارچه‌ای با نانولوله‌های کربنی اصلاح شد و در ادامه برای تصفیه محلول حاوی مخلوط مواد رنگزای راکتیو آبی 69، راکتیو قرمز 195 و راکتیو زرد 84 استفاده شد. آزمایش‌های مقایسه‌ای نشان داد که کارایی الکترود اصلاح شده در حذف مواد رنگزا بهتر از کاتد کربن پارچه‌ای است. برای 500 میلی‌لیتر از مخلوط مواد رنگزا با غلظت 50 میلی‌گرم در لیتر از هر کدام، حاوی الکترولیت سولفات سدیم و یون آهن سه ظرفیتی، اجرای فرایند تصفیه نشان داد، تحت شدت جریان الکتریکی 300 میلی‌آمپر و زمان الکترولیز 210 دقیقه، بهترین راندمان حذف رنگ به‌دست می‌آید. محاسبه میزان جریان مؤثر و انرژی الکتریکی مصرفی با توجه به اندازه‌گیری‌های COD نشان داد که در شدت جریان 300 میلی‌آمپر و زمان 210 دقیقه، بیشترین جریان مؤثر برقرار است و کمترین انرژی الکتریکی مصرف می‌شود. میزان معدنی شدن مواد رنگزا بعد از اجرای فرایند الکتروفنتون تحت شرایط ذکر شده مشخص کرد که در محلول‌های رنگی حدود 78 درصد COD اولیه حذف شده است. فرایند الکتروفنتون می‌تواند برای تصفیه پساب‌های حاوی مخلوط آلاینده‌ رنگی استفاده شود. پارامترهای مؤثر بر کارایی این فرایند نوع الکترود کاتد، شدت جریان الکتریکی و زمان الکترولیز است.}, keywords_fa = {الکتروفنتون,مواد رنگزای راکتیو,نانولوله کربنی,کاهش COD}, url = {https://www.wwjournal.ir/article_12988.html}, eprint = {https://www.wwjournal.ir/article_12988_5da0061cd479b5d8e7b25d4238b09a3d.pdf} }
