The cost of water production is one of the most important factors in choosing a desalination method. In the adsorption method using natural materials, the cost of desalination can be reduced. In this study, Iranian zeolite and bentonite were used to reduce salinity by batch test. The adsorbents were identified by EDx, XRD, and BET. Clays were also modified with 1 M hydrochloric acid. The results showed that Iranian zeolite and bentonite used in this study as mineral adsorbents do not have the efficiency to reduce salinity and increase the electrical conductivity and sodium content of water. The highest increase in sodium concentration in samples was related to natural bentonite (102.5 mg/g) at the highest salinity concentration (64000 mg/L) and the lowest increase in sodium concentration was related to natural zeolite at 0.066 mg/g in the lowest salinity concentration (640 mg/L). Also, the highest increase in electrical conductivity was related to natural bentonite with an increase of 4.3 dS/m. It is noteworthy that after acid correction, the amount of electrical conductivity increased significantly in both clays. Therefore, due to the differences between the clays, it is better to first examine them in terms of construction and then use them in the field of desalination.}, keywords = {Zeolite,Bentonite,Desalination,Adsorption}, title_fa = {بررسی اثر استفاده از زئولیت و بنتونیت ایرانی در نمک‌زدایی}, abstract_fa = {تقاضای جهانی آب پیوسته در حال افزایش است، این در حالی است که منابع آب شیرین به‌دلیل افزایش تقاضا و اثرات تغییر اقلیم به‌خصوص در مناطق خشک و نیمه‌خشک مانند کشور ایران با محدودیت مواجه هستند. هزینه آب تولید شده، یکی از مهم‌ترین عوامل مؤثر در انتخاب روش نمک‌زدایی است. در روش جذب با استفاده از مواد طبیعی می‌توان هزینه نمک‌زدایی را کاهش داد. در این پژوهش با استفاده از دو ماده زئولیت، بنتونیت ایرانی برای کاهش شوری به روش آزمایش پیمانه‌ای استفاده شد. جاذب‌ها به‌وسیلهEDx, XRD, BET شناسایی شدند. همچنین رس‌ها به‌وسیله اسید هیدروکلریک یک مولار اصلاح شدند. نتایج نشان داد که زئولیت و بنتونیت ایرانی استفاده شده در این پژوهش به‌عنوان جاذب‌های معدنی کارایی لازم برای کاهش شوری را نداشته و سبب افزایش هدایت الکتریکی و مقدار سدیم آب می‌شوند. بیشترین افزایش غلظت سدیم در نمونه‌ها مربوط به بنتونیت طبیعی به مقدار 5/102 میلی‌گرم در گرم در بیشترین غلظت شوری معادل 64000 میلی‌گرم در لیتر و کمترین افزایش غلظت سدیم مربوط به زئولیت طبیعی به مقدار 066/0 میلی‌گرم در گرم در کمترین غلظت شوری معادل 640 میلی‌گرم در لیتر بود. همچنین بیشترین افزایش هدایت الکتریکی مربوط به بنتونیت طبیعی با افزایش 3/4 دسی‌سیمنز بر متر بود. قابل ذکر است که پس از اصلاح با اسید، مقدار هدایت الکتریکی به‌طور قابل‌ملاحظه‌ای در هر دو رس افزایش یافت. بنابراین با توجه به تفاوت‌های موجود بین رس‌ها، بهتر است ابتدا از نظر ساختمانی بررسی و سپس در زمینه نمک‌زدایی استفاده شوند.}, keywords_fa = {زئولیت,بنتونیت,نمک‌زدایی,جذب}, url = {https://www.wwjournal.ir/article_145369.html}, eprint = {https://www.wwjournal.ir/article_145369_2a346ca27701fe042e694d5dc773911f.pdf} }
