The samples were irradiated with gamma collimated beam in a batch system using a Co-60 therapeutic gamma radiation machine with a radioactive source emission rate of 405.38CGy/min at different doses of 20-160 Gy and 80-240 Gy, respectively. The samples were analyzed before and after irradiation for total and fecal coliforms. It was observed that nearly 100% reduction was achieved in total and fecal coliforms in water samples treated with a dose of 160 Gy. Depending on effluent quality, disinfection efficiencies achieved using 240 Gy gamma irradiation for inactivation of total coliforms in wastewater samples were 83, 64, and 56 percent for filtered, clarified, and secondary effluents, respectively. The same values were nearly 81, 58, and 46 percent, respectively, for inactivation of fecal coliforms. At lower doses of 120-240Gy, the coliform bacteria were successfully inactivated. It was concluded that a linear correlation holds between the dose delivered and the inactivation of microorganisms, so that inactivation increases with increasing irradiation time.}, keywords = {Disinfection,Water,Treated Wastewater,Gamma irradiation}, title_fa = {گندزدایی آب تصفیه‌خانه آب و پساب تصفیه‌خانه فاضلاب اصفهان با اشعه گاما}, abstract_fa = {برای بررسی تأثیر اشعه گاما بر گندزدایی آب و فاضلاب، نمونه‌های آب خام و آب فیلتر شده تصفیه‌خانه آب اصفهان، نمونه‌های پساب ثانویه خروجی تصفیه‌خانه فاضلاب شمال اصفهان، پساب ثانویه زلال‌سازی شده با زمان ماند یک روز و پساب ثانویه فیلتر شده جمع‌‌آوری شد. با استفاده از دستگاه درمانی60CO  مولد اشعه گاما با نرخ انتشار اشعهCGy/min  405/38، نمونه‌های آب در دزهای Gy160-20 و نمونه‌های پساب در دزهایGy  240-80 پرتودهی گردید. برای تعیین میزان کلیفرم قبل و بعد از پرتودهی، بر روی نمونه‌ها کشت میکربی انجام شد. بر اساس نتایج آزمایش‌های میکربی، تقریباً 100 درصد کلیفرم‌های کل و مدفوعی در نمونه‌های آب در دزGy  160 از اشعه گاما غیر فعال شدند. کارایی اشعه گاما در غیر فعال‌سازی کلیفرم‌های کل پساب در دز Gy240 ، بسته به کیفیت آنها متفاوت بود و برای نمونه‌های پساب ثانویه، زلال شده و فیلتر شده به‌ترتیب 56، 83، 64 درصد بود. کاهش کلیفرم‌های مدفوعی نیز به‌ترتیب 46، 58، 81 درصد به‌دست آمد. همچنین کاهش مؤثر (5 تا 80 درصد) بار کلیفرمی نمونه‌های پساب، در دزهای  Gy240- 120 مشاهده شد. طبق منحنی‌های دز– پاسخ، با افزایش دز پرتو، غیر فعال‌سازی کلیفرم‌ها به‌صورت خطی افزایش می‌یابد. با دز گامای مورد استفاده در این مطالعه در نمونه‌های آب، راندمان حذف کامل کلیفرم‌ها حاصل گردید. اما برای نمونه‌های فاضلاب با وجود راندمان‌های بالای80 درصد در نمونه‌های فیلتر شده پساب، هنوز استاندارد زیست‌محیطی مرتبط با پارامترهای میکربی پساب برآورده نمی‌شود، بنابراین لازم است دزهای بالاتر اشعه مورد استفاده قرار گیرد. }, keywords_fa = {گندزدایی,آب و پساب,اشعه گاما}, url = {https://www.wwjournal.ir/article_1312.html}, eprint = {https://www.wwjournal.ir/article_1312_773f3b59652ce3c8789c80d7e1444ee6.pdf} }
